Duties
- Design and develop visually appealing websites and e-commerce platforms using SAP Commerce (Hybris), WordPress, and other content management systems.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Axure to visualize user flows and interface layouts.
- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal performance across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate front-end code utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and PHP for dynamic functionalities.
- Enhance website usability by applying UX best practices, usability testing, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and information architecture principles.
- Develop motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate to create engaging content for digital campaigns.
- Conduct data analysis using Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools to monitor website performance and inform design improvements.
- Maintain website content updates, perform regular website maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure ongoing site security.
- Optimize websites for SEO by implementing best practices in content structure, metadata management, and keyword integration.
- Support digital marketing efforts through email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp or similar platforms while aligning design with branding guidelines.
Skills
- Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of interaction design principles with experience in wireframing and prototyping tools like Balsamiq or InVision.
- Expertise in web development languages including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React), PHP, Python (for automation), Node.js, AJAX, and SQL databases such as MySQL or MS SQL Server.
- Experience working with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint or similar platforms; familiarity with SAP Commerce (Hybris) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability testing methodologies to enhance user experience for diverse audiences.
- Skills in analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to track performance metrics and optimize user engagement strategies.
- Ability to perform website maintenance tasks including layout design adjustments using Bootstrap or Telerik frameworks; experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Strong understanding of information architecture principles to organize content effectively for optimal user navigation.
- Experience in digital marketing strategies including SEO best practices and email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, marketers, and stakeholders.
