Duties

• Design and develop engaging website layouts using wireframing tools such as Figma, Axure, or Balsamiq, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Create compelling visual content including logos, graphics, typography, and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Adobe XD.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure websites look great and function flawlessly across all devices using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and other front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with developers to translate designs into functional websites by integrating content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal and utilizing web development languages like PHP, Python, SQL, and MySQL.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design improvements; analyze web analytics data from tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to optimize site performance.
• Maintain websites through regular updates, troubleshooting issues related to web accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices, website maintenance tasks, and content management system updates.
• Support digital marketing initiatives by designing email templates for campaigns using Mailchimp or SharePoint and enhancing online visibility through SEO strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing website projects that demonstrate UI/UX expertise.
• Proficiency in interaction design principles along with skills in wireframing and layout design using tools such as Adobe XD, InVision, or Figma.
• Solid understanding of front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3 (and pre-processors like SCSS or Less), JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, and version control systems like Git.
• Experience with motion graphics creation using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate; familiarity with web accessibility standards is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of content management systems including WordPress and Drupal; experience with website maintenance and updates is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
• Ability to conduct user research to improve usability; familiarity with information architecture and user-centered design methodologies.
