POSITION SUMMARY
The Ecommerce Associate supports the Catalog Division in executing ecommerce marketing and sales strategies within the medical device industry. This role focuses on growing ecommerce sales, expanding online presence, supporting digital marketing initiatives, enhancing customer experience, analyzing performance metrics, and assisting with customer engagement. The Ecommerce Associate collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, IT, Customer Service, and Operations to drive revenue growth, improve processes, optimize workflows, and resolve issues for overall ecommerce performance.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of ecommerce platforms, online marketplaces, and digital marketing channels.
- Understanding of SEO/SEM principles and Google Ad.
- Ability to create reports and analyze ecommerce performance metrics, KPIs, and campaign results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with analytics tools preferred.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and Python.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic understanding of medical device industry regulations and compliance considerations preferred.
Level of Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, inside sales, or a related field.
Level of Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Travel:
- Up to 10%, as business needs dictate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Catalog Division leaders to develop and execute ecommerce marketing and sales plans.
- Support SEO and SEM initiatives, including organic search improvements and Google Ads campaigns.
- Assist in developing and implementing programs on ecommerce marketplaces (such as Amazon) and social media platforms (such as LinkedIn).
- Help develop and maintain email marketing calendars and execute email campaigns.
- Review and monitor product offerings, pricing, and promotional activities across ecommerce websites.
- Create ecommerce performance reports; track, analyze, and report monthly KPIs and campaign results; and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with web developers to enhance website appearance, functionality, and user experience.
- Conduct competitive and market research; collect and interpret customer surveys, feedback, and product reviews.
- Monitor ecommerce websites to ensure proper functionality; collaborate with IT and web development teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Support management of key ecommerce accounts.
- Follow up on leads through phone calls, emails, and other sales outreach activities.
- Participate in call campaigns to improve customer retention, welcome new customers, and promote sales initiatives.
- Provide support and backup to Catalog customer service and operations teams as needed.
