Radford University is seeking a Website Support Analyst to join the Web and Mobile Technology team in Radford, Virginia. The Website Support Analyst will provide essential technical guidance to CMS editors within Marketing and Communications, as well as departmental editors across campus. Responsibilities include ensuring the proper configuration and stable operation of web and mobile systems.
Key duties also involve supporting and managing website analytics platforms. This includes monitoring and generating reports on site performance, page load speeds, and mobile usability. The analyst will recommend data-driven adjustments to enhance website accessibility, visibility, and organic search performance, contributing to improved SEO.
Required Qualifications
- A combination of training, education, and/or experience in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) for website editing and publishing.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website development principles.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the Modern Campus Content Management System in a university environment.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, best practices, and the latest industry trends.
- Experience working with the OneCampus portal – creating and maintaining tiles, configuration and settings.
- Knowledge and/or experience programming in PHP or Javascript.
