Duties
- Develop innovative website designs using digital design principles, focusing on aesthetics, usability, and responsiveness across devices.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups utilizing tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision to visualize concepts and streamline collaboration.
- Implement front-end web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and other frameworks to bring designs to life with seamless interactivity.
- Enhance website functionality through web development languages such as PHP, Python, SQL, MySQL, and Node.js while maintaining clean code standards.
- Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in content structure, metadata, and performance analytics via Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics.
- Ensure web accessibility standards are met to provide inclusive experiences for all users by adhering to usability guidelines and information architecture principles.
- Maintain and update existing websites using content management systems like WordPress or Drupal; perform regular website maintenance to ensure security and performance.
- Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects with Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate to create engaging multimedia content that enhances user engagement.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights for continuous improvement; analyze data with web analytics tools to refine design strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital design, interaction design, UI/UX principles, and responsive web design across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat for creating compelling visuals and layouts.
- Strong knowledge of front-end development languages such as HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), and PHP; familiarity with back-end technologies like Node.js or SQL is a plus.
- Experience with content management systems including WordPress and Drupal; familiarity with website maintenance best practices is essential.
- Ability to create wireframes and prototypes using Balsamiq, Axure or Figma; understanding of information architecture enhances user flow design.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics to track performance metrics effectively.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies including email marketing platforms like Mailchimp; experience with SEO optimization techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong data analysis skills for interpreting user behavior data to inform design decisions; experience with A/B testing is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to collaboration within cross-functional teams including developers and marketers.
