Part-Time Web Designer, Web Manager & Creative Design Assistant (Remote)
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Part-Time Web Designer, Web Manager & Creative Design Assistant to enhance our digital presence. This role requires expertise in web design, UX/UI, digital marketing, and specialized creative skills, including pattern design and textile design.
The ideal candidate is passionate about innovative web solutions and visual storytelling, with a strong foundation in design and development tools. Experience with soft, feminine leaning imagery and styles for interiors is highly valued. Understanding wholesale business structuring is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly websites using responsive web design principles.
* Manage website content and perform maintenance using CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
* Create engaging graphics, motion graphics, logos, and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
* Implement front-end development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, and React.
* Optimize websites for SEO and usability; ensure web accessibility standards are met.
* Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, or Balsamiq.
* Analyze web analytics data via Google Analytics 360 to inform strategic decisions.
* Create wholesale to business (B2B) or retail platforms using Shopify or similar systems.
* Collaborate on marketing ideas and campaigns.
* Maintain version control using Git.
* Willingness to learn and assist in marketing, sales, customer service, cold calls, and trade shows.
Experience & Required Skills
* Proven experience in digital design, interaction design, UI/UX principles, and motion graphics.
* Strong background in graphic design, proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Dreamweaver.
* Textile, illustration, and pattern design is a must, with the ability to create seamless images and clean, organized layers.
* Proven ability to create prototypes for online store creation using Shopify or similar platforms, including secure payment and transaction management.
* Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal is essential.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools like Google Analytics is required.
* Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD) and usability testing.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excel spreadsheet experience is a plus.
Preferred Technical Skills
* Hands-on experience with front-end development: HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular).
* Familiarity with PHP, MySQL databases, and Node.js.

* Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per month
