Quick Summary
We’re looking for a technically skilled Digital Marketing Producer to own and optimize our marketing websites built on WordPress and WooCommerce. This role focuses on the performance, reliability, and growth of our web presence. You’ll manage the technical side of our marketing sites while working closely with our growing in-house creative team to support campaigns, improve search visibility, and optimize the user experience.
This is not a front-end design role. Instead, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes of websites — managing infrastructure, improving SEO performance, optimizing site speed, implementing marketing integrations, and ensuring our websites run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate understands how websites support marketing and revenue growth, and knows how to continually improve performance using data, experimentation, and modern tools.
Key Responsibilities
WordPress & WooCommerce Management
- Own the ongoing management, maintenance, and optimization of our WordPress marketing websites and WooCommerce storefronts.
- Manage plugins, theme updates, hosting environments, and staging workflows to ensure stability and security.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, plugin conflicts, and site performance problems.
- Monitor uptime, reliability, and site health.
Site Performance & SEO Optimization
- Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices including site structure, redirects, schema, crawlability, and page performance.
- Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall website efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to identify technical issues, broken links, or outdated content.
- Work with marketing to improve site architecture and internal linking to support organic search growth.
Landing Pages & Marketing Campaign Support
- Build and maintain landing pages in WordPress using page builders while following brand and design guidelines.
- Implement A/B tests, optimize forms and CTAs, and improve conversion paths across the website.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to support campaign launches and site updates.
Analytics & Data Insights
- Implement and maintain tracking via Google Tag Manager, analytics tools, and marketing integrations.
- Monitor website performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion.
- Use heatmaps, analytics, and testing tools to drive ongoing site optimization.
Workflow Optimization & Automation
- Maintain integrations between website forms, marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
- Improve efficiency through automation and modern tools.
- Identify opportunities to streamline web operations and improve marketing workflows.
Video Content Support (Nice to Have)
- Assist with editing or producing marketing video content when needed.
- Support the creation of product demos, explainer videos, or marketing assets.
- Video production experience is helpful but not required.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience managing WordPress websites in a marketing environment including PHP templates, MySQL, and plugin conflict troubleshooting and back end fundamentals.
- Strong experience working with WooCommerce.
- Deep experience using page builders (e.g., Elementor), plugins, and theme customization.
- Solid understanding of front-end structure (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) for implementing and styling custom elements.
- Proven ability to create high-converting landing pages and optimize user journeys.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals including crawlability, redirects, schema, and site speed.
- Experience implementing tracking scripts and integrations using Google Tag Manager or similar tools.
- Experience managing staging environments and hosting workflows.
- Familiarity with APIs or webhooks for connecting forms, CRMs, or automation workflows.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, or similar.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with marketing, creative, and product teams.
