Wix Website Designer (Remote)

We are seeking a talented Wix Website Designer to join our creative team. This role requires expertise in digital and web design, focusing on creating visually compelling, user-friendly, and responsive websites using the Wix platform.

The ideal candidate translates client needs into engaging web experiences, leveraging skills in graphic design, interaction design, and front-end development to optimize user engagement and align with brand identity.

Key Responsibilities (Duties)

• Design and develop visually appealing websites using Wix, adhering to best practices in UI/UX and responsive web design.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for presenting design concepts and gathering client feedback.
• Implement motion graphics, animations, and interactive elements to enhance user engagement.
• Develop and optimize e-commerce features, including product pages and checkout processes.
• Design logos, icons, and branding elements to ensure cohesive visual identity across platforms.
• Conduct usability testing and user research to improve website functionality and accessibility.
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring compliance with current SEO standards and web accessibility guidelines.
• Collaborate with content creators and developers for seamless integration of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal.
• Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics to monitor website performance and inform design improvements.
• Manage website maintenance tasks, including updates, security patches, and performance optimization using tools like Adobe Dreamweaver or InVision.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing Wix websites or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in graphic design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
• Solid understanding of front-end development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap, Angular, React, Node.js, Redux, AJAX, and SCSS/SASS/LESS stylesheets.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics).
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal is preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills for interpreting user behavior metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Compensation & Location

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
