Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing websites using advanced web design tools and techniques, ensuring alignment with brand identity and project goals.
- Implement responsive web design principles to optimize user experience across desktops, tablets, and smartphones using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Maintain websites through content management systems like WordPress or Drupal, ensuring web accessibility standards are met for all users.
- Collaborate with developers to translate designs into functional front-end code, utilizing web development languages including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and Python where applicable.
- Provide timely service, ensuring clients' needs are met and they feel heard, seen, and appreciated.
Experience
(1 - 2 years of web design experience is preferred)
- Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive websites and interactive interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with front-end development technologies including HTML5, CSS3 (and preprocessors like SCSS or Less), JavaScript (and frameworks such as React or Angular), and content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms including Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusive digital experiences for all users.
- Ability to perform website maintenance tasks such as updates, troubleshooting issues with tools like Adobe Dreamweaver or SharePoint while ensuring optimal performance.
