IT Security Specialist - Federal Compliance (USPS-OIG)

LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for an IT Security Specialist to support our contract with USPS-OIG.

Position Overview: Application and Enterprise Security

The IT Security Specialist serves as a technical authority for application security and enterprise information technology security. This role is responsible for safeguarding sensitive information assets by designing, implementing, and operating cybersecurity solutions that protect systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Job Duties:

  • Solve complex cybersecurity problems involving multiple systems and applications.
  • Administer cloud and enterprise security tools, including Azure and Microsoft 365 security services.
  • Perform incident detection, response, remediation, and vulnerability management.
  • Conduct cyber threat analysis and risk assessments.
  • Support FISMA, NIST, OMB, and federal cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  • Design and implement security architectures for cloud and mobile environments.
  • Collaborate with OCIO staff and stakeholders.
  • Manage IT security awareness training.
  • Respond to IT security service tickets and ensure SLA compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field with 5+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SAST and DAST tools.
  • Experience implementing enterprise application security programs.
  • Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and federal cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience with cloud security and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Java, .NET, Python, PHP, C++, or C#.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to obtain Moderate Background Investigation clearance.
  • Secret clearance preferred.
