We deliver high-quality web, software, and enterprise platforms for clients across healthcare, logistics, professional services, and international trade in both UK and global markets.

As part of our growth, we are seeking a Web Design Consultant to collaborate with internal teams and external clients. This role focuses on designing, developing, and continuously improving modern web solutions.

Duties

  • Design and develop engaging, responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap and React.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, and InVision to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimise website visibility and performance across search engines.
  • Maintain and update existing websites built on content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance user experience (UX) and information architecture.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate front-end designs with back-end systems using PHP, Python, Node.js, SQL, MySQL, or SharePoint.
  • Utilise Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) for graphic design and visual content creation.
  • Ensure websites are optimised for mobile devices through responsive web design techniques using SCSS, Less (style sheet language), and other CSS preprocessors.
  • Analyse website data using Google Analytics to inform design improvements and optimise user engagement.
  • Perform website maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues, updating content, and ensuring security protocols are followed.

Skills

  • Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio demonstrating web projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including AJAX), React, Angular, Redux, Node.js, PHP, SQL/MySQL.
  • Expertise in UI/UX principles with experience in wireframing tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Balsamiq or InVision.
  • Familiarity with content management systems including WordPress and Drupal.
  • Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics is advantageous.
  • Experience with responsive web design techniques ensuring compatibility across devices.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices alongside analytics tools like Google Analytics for data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects independently.
  • Understanding of usability testing methodologies and information architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git; experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp is a plus.
