Quick Summary
The Role
This is a high-impact position for a developer who also possesses a product-thinking mindset. You will not merely execute tasks; you will be the technical and creative owner of our digital flagship. We are seeking a professional who stays current with best-in-class UX/UI trends and proactively recommends improvements to enhance brand authority, user engagement, and conversion rates. You will serve as the architect, guardian, and visionary for our website. Your mission is to bridge the gap between high-end luxury aesthetics and high-performance lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Ownership & Governance: Act as the primary technical lead for our WordPress site. Manage hosting, security, performance optimization, and daily updates to ensure 99.9% uptime and lightning-fast load speeds.
- The Redesign Lead: Own the full lifecycle of the WordPress ecosystem. Lead a strategic site redesign that balances "The Marangoni Aesthetic" with modern performance standards. Architect and execute a comprehensive site redesign aligned with 2026 design trends and our "Italianness" brand heritage.
- HubSpot Integration: Build and maintain deep technical integrations between WordPress and HubSpot CRM. Own the lead flow, ensuring every form, tracking pixel, and automated sequence is perfectly synced. Govern the integration with Zoho CRM and the Student Portal to ensure student applications and data remain synchronized and secure.
- SEO & AEO Mastery: Move beyond traditional keyword ranking. Optimize the site for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative AI search (SGE), ensuring our authority is recognized by Google and AI discovery engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
- Redesign & Technical SEO: Implement advanced Schema markup, structured data, and "Answer-First" content layouts to capture zero-click searches and featured snippets.
- Fix & Troubleshoot: Rapidly diagnose and resolve CSS/JS conflicts, plugin issues, and database errors.
- Content Strategy (Bonus): Collaborate with the marketing team to draft or refine high-impact, SEO-optimized copy that resonates with luxury fashion students.
- UX/UI Innovation: Constantly audit the site to identify friction points. Proactively recommend and implement UI enhancements (animations, navigation flow, mobile responsiveness) that reflect a luxury fashion education experience.
- Systems Architecture (Zoho & HubSpot): Maintain the flow between WordPress and HubSpot for marketing automation and lead nurturing.
- Secure Payment Integration: Manage and optimize global payment gateways (e.g., Flywire, Stripe, Zoho Checkout) for tuition and application fees, ensuring a seamless, high-trust checkout experience.
- SEO & AEO Leadership: Implement technical SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies. Utilize structured data to establish our content as the "source of truth" for AI search engines (SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity). Provide monthly reporting on SEO/AEO, keywords, and ranking.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the site meets Core Web Vitals targets, maintaining elite speed and security protocols. Report site metrics on a weekly basis.

- WordPress Expertise: 5+ years of professional development experience. Comfortable with custom themes, advanced ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) implementations, and performance tuning.
- CRM Integration: Proven experience managing HubSpot integrations, including custom API hooks, workflow triggers, and lead tracking.
- The "AEO" Edge: Deep understanding of how AI search engines extract data. Expert in JSON-LD Schema and technical SEO.
