Job Description

The Team Lead, Web & Mobile Technologies, delivers expert technical leadership for developing, implementing, and supporting Radford University’s cloud and SaaS-based web and mobile platforms. This critical role ensures the stability, security, and evolution of the university’s public website, enterprise Content Management System (CMS), mobile applications, and related integrations. The position requires close collaboration with campus partners to deploy modern, effective, secure, and well-designed digital solutions that directly support institutional goals.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of experience supporting implementation and developing solutions for large websites utilizing an enterprise content management system (CMS).
  • Proven ability to analyze requirements, solve complex system issues, and collaborate effectively with functional partners, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and their application to improve website visibility and ranking.
  • Strong technical skills in CSS, JavaScript, Python, and PHP for modifying and developing web platforms.
  • High level of professionalism combined with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and administering the Modern Campus Content Management System in a higher education setting.
  • Familiarity with key web applications and integrations, including mobile apps, calendaring applications, and RESTful web services.
  • Experience seamlessly embedding data/modules or applications within web pages.
