Required Skills & Experience for SEO / Marketing Project Manager:
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing roles.
- Experience presenting professional materials to clients in on-camera meetings.
- Proven experience with search engine optimization (SEO).
- Experience managing Google Ads accounts (Google Ads certified preferred).
- Demonstrated project management experience (certifications preferred).
- Solid understanding of project management methodology, including issue identification and resolution, risk management, detailed work plan development, resource allocation, and team meeting facilitation.
- Knowledge of project management software such as Basecamp, MS Project, Visio, or Sales Force.
- Understanding of web development (ability to write HTML / CSS / PHP is preferred).
- Strong interpersonal dynamics, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, influence, facilitation, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organized work style.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.
- Reliable internet and power, and a reliable computer with webcam, microphone, and speakers for remote work.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with teams of 3 or more people (preferred).
- Experience with WordPress and/or Magento (preferred).
Key Duties & Responsibilities of an SEO / Marketing Project Manager:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to achieve business goals.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics with team leads, including ROI, conversion rates, and customer engagement, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Manage the workflow of the SEO team, assigning and following up on tasks to ensure timely and high-quality client work within budget.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across different marketing teams and departments.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and participate in client meetings as required.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and SEO project management, recommending innovative strategies and tools to enhance marketing efforts.
- Mentor and coach team members, offering guidance and support for professional development.
- Identify necessary resources and assign individual responsibilities.
- Create training materials, improve work processes, and address concerns appropriately.
- Review team deliverables before submission to Digital Producers.

For California, New York, Washington, and Colorado residents, the starting base pay for this position ranges between $17 - $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. Outside of these states, compensation may fall outside the specified ranges.
