Required SEO Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including SEO-friendly site architecture, tags, coding, site speed optimization, and link building.
• Experience implementing AI-based SEO strategies, such as keyword clustering, content optimization, and search intent analysis using machine learning or NLP tools.
• Proficient knowledge of how AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity can enhance SEO workflows, from content ideation to on-page optimization and technical audits.
• Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and tools for scaling SEO performance.
• Hands-on experience with SEO crawling and auditing tools such as Screaming Frog to identify technical SEO issues.
• Proficiency in rank tracking and competitive analysis tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or WebCEO for monitoring keyword performance and identifying growth opportunities.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of web copywriting and web design, and their relationship to SEO functionality.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and a desire for continuous learning in the SEO landscape.
• Knowledge of JavaScript & PHP (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.

Key SEO Analyst Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep SEO research and R&D to stay ahead of algorithm updates, AI search trends, and emerging technologies.
• Perform comprehensive SEO audits for client websites, identifying issues and implementing effective data-driven solutions.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and advanced analytics to discover keyword opportunities, optimize content strategies, and strengthen topical authority.
• Conduct thorough keyword research and prioritization based on evolving search intent, competition, and SERP behavior.
• Create and optimize 301 redirects, HTML/XML sitemaps, title tags, meta descriptions, and structured data for enhanced indexing.
• Collaborate on technical SEO innovations, including entity-based SEO, schema optimization, and internal linking improvements.
• Monitor and enhance site performance through upgrades in website code, server optimization, and site speed improvements.
• Experiment with new AI-based methodologies, SEO automation workflows, and predictive ranking analysis as part of ongoing R&D.
• Develop and implement local SEO strategies to improve clients’ online visibility in local search results.
• Use heatmap analysis tools, session recordings, surveys, and user testing to understand pain points and optimize user behavior and conversion rate.
• After initial training, perform advanced technical SEO analysis to uncover errors and implement solutions.

For California, New York, Washington, and Colorado residents, the starting base pay for this position ranges between $15 - $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. Outside of these states, compensation may fall outside the specified ranges.
