Digital Growth Developer (Technical Marketing & Analytics)

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Technical Marketing Developer who operates at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and growth. This role requires hands-on web development, traffic analysis, and marketing execution. You will build, optimize, and scale high-performing digital experiences while leveraging behavioral and traffic data for continuous performance improvement.

This position ensures that all marketing, website, and lifecycle channels are properly instrumented to track user behavior, measure performance, and implement changes to optimize spend. You will partner closely with marketing and technology leadership to implement and maintain analytics tools, tracking pixels, and cross-domain measurement necessary for full-funnel attribution. Responsibilities include supporting data quality and integrity during implementations, validating accuracy, and resolving discrepancies across platforms. Success requires strong analytics and tag management experience, comfort with attribution complexity, and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Ideally familiar with tools such as: Mailchimp, WordPress, Squarespace, Instapage(s), GoDaddy, Loro, and similar platforms.

Marketing Activation & Growth

  • Build and optimize conversion-focused landing pages, forms, and CTAs.
  • Implement A/B testing, personalization, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Implement optimized acquisition and activation flows based on traffic and behavioral insights.

Tracking & Analytics Implementation

  • Implement and validate channel-specific tracking pixels (e.g., Meta/Facebook, Google, other paid media platforms).
  • Set up and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including event-based tracking and conversion goals.
  • Support cross-domain tracking to ensure continuity of the user journey across platforms.
  • Ensure accurate attribution from ad click to website quote bind.
  • Build dashboards and reports that surface trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent measurement and data integrity across platforms.
  • Analyze traffic sources, user journeys, and funnel performance to identify drop-offs and optimization opportunities.
  • Implement and manage behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar), including heatmaps, session recordings, and surveys.

Web Development & Platforms

  • Design, build, and maintain marketing websites and landing pages using WordPress, Squarespace, and related CMS platforms.
  • Customize themes, templates, and plugins using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP where applicable.
  • Ensure sites are performant, responsive, accessible, and secure.
  • Manage integrations with CRMs, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and third-party APIs.

Data Pipeline & Measurement Framework

  • Build and maintain a reliable data pipeline from front-end user actions to backend reporting.
  • Establish a consistent tracking framework across web, paid media, email, and SMS.
  • Ensure UTMs and tracking parameters are implemented correctly and documented centrally.

Quality Control & Validation

  • Audit existing implementations to identify gaps, misfires, or data blind spots.
  • Validate that data passed to marketing platforms is accurate, complete, and usable for optimization.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between ad platforms, analytics tools, and internal data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Serve as the clear owner of marketing data integrity across teams.
  • Make ongoing front-end improvements to websites and landing pages.
  • Implement UX/UI best practices across web properties.
  • Document technical implementations, tracking plans, and optimization learnings.

Ideal Skill Set

  • Strong experience implementing web analytics and marketing tracking (GA4, pixels, tags).
  • Familiarity with cross-domain tracking and attribution challenges.
  • Comfort working with tag managers (e.g., Google Tag Manager).

Qualifications

  • Required:
