SaaS Website Developer (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced SaaS Website Developer with a strong background in SaaS-based website architecture, SEO optimization, and web security best practices. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance websites that are not only visually appealing and functional but also optimized for search engines and built with robust security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites, primarily for SaaS products and services.
• Customize themes, plugins, and templates as needed to meet business requirements.
• Implement and manage on-page SEO strategies to ensure top rankings in SERPs.
• Optimize website performance (speed, responsiveness, and accessibility).
• Conduct regular website audits for SEO and security vulnerabilities.
• Integrate third-party APIs and SaaS tools where necessary.
• Ensure websites comply with modern security standards (SSL, firewall, malware scanning, backups, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues or bugs quickly.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and marketing teams to align on website goals and updates.
• Maintain documentation and version control using Git or similar tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress website development.
• Proven experience in building and managing SaaS-based websites using WordPress.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Proficient in working with popular WordPress builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or similar.
• Expertise in SEO best practices (on-page SEO, schema markup, keyword optimization, Core Web Vitals).
• Solid knowledge of WordPress security practices (firewalls, backups, malware removal, security plugins).
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, GTmetrix, Ahrefs, etc.
• Experience integrating payment gateways, forms, CRMs, and marketing automation tools.
• Comfortable working with cPanel, and hosting environments (e.g., Cloudways, SiteGround, AWS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WooCommerce, Multisite, or Headless WordPress.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Understanding of accessibility standards and GDPR compliance.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for WordPress deployments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month
