WordPress Developer Job Description

Brandography is a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking to add a Wordpress Developer to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write structured, testable code adhering to good coding standards and practices with a focus on performance, security, and user experience.
• Develop, test, and deploy websites using a variety of tool sets for multiple high traffic sites.
• Develop long term strategies and vision to elevate the companies that we work with.
• Ability to communicate with the marketing team and project management teams to deliver high quality sites.
• Participate in planning and agile ceremonies within the Growth team and through partnership with the marketing team.
• Build responsive web applications using CSS, HTML, and PHP.
• Collaborate with a diverse organization to understand and meet the goals, needs, and priorities of our users.
• Take ownership and responsibility for website performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Implement SEO best practices, such as optimizing HTML tags, URL structure, schema, meta descriptions, and ensuring proper indexing and crawling of web pages.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Candidate Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience developing fully customized WordPress themes and CMS.
• Ability to develop pixel perfect fast websites from PSDs or Figmas.
• Strong understanding of PHP/MySQL.
• Experience with modern web technologies and techniques such as HTML5, CSS3, ECMAScript 2016, CSS preprocessors (SASS, Less, Stylus), and JavaScript.

Additional Experience (Preferred):

• React, NodeJS, or VueJS.
• WebGL and animation via JavaScript and CSS.
• Ecommerce.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
