Website Project Manager: Drive Business Growth & Enhance Client Website Functionality

Join 215 Marketing, a full-service performance marketing agency, as our Website Project Manager. We are a Google Premier Partner, HubSpot Platinum Partner, and Inc. 5000 company, committed to delivering top-tier marketing solutions. Our focus is on growth marketing, supporting clients with lead generation, robust analytics, high-converting websites, integrated CRMs, and ongoing conversion rate optimization.

This client-facing, PM-first role involves owning the full lifecycle of client website projects, from kickoff to launch and beyond. You will be the central hub connecting our design, development, and content teams, serving as the primary client contact for web projects.

We seek an organized, direct, and decisive individual who can manage projects efficiently, align clients effectively, and deliver quality work on realistic timelines. Technical fluency is essential; you should understand web development sufficiently to QA, scope, and confidently discuss technical aspects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the full project lifecycle for WordPress website builds: Scoping, planning, coordinating design/development/content, QA, and launch.
  • Serve as the primary client contact on web projects: Setting expectations, managing feedback rounds, and proactively communicating progress and risks.
  • Translate client business goals into clearly defined project scopes; identify and address scope creep.
  • Coordinate across internal team members and contractors (designers, developers, copywriters) to keep milestones on track.
  • Conduct thorough QA on all deliverables: Cross-device testing, on-site SEO fundamentals, site speed, ADA/accessibility compliance, analytics setup, and redirect implementation.
  • Review every page of every website before launch to catch formatting, grammar, and functional issues.
  • Monitor project budgets and flag risks early; communicate timeline adjustments proactively.
  • Support ad-hoc WordPress tasks and requests with flexibility and technical context.
  • Identify opportunities to transition completed projects into ongoing programs (SEO, CRO, support retainers, paid media).
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and task management in Asana.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of project management experience in a digital marketing agency environment.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress websites (custom-coded builds, not just page builders).
  • Familiarity with WordPress fundamentals: Themes, plugins, ACF, Custom Post Types, and core updates.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript for code review, troubleshooting, and technical conversations.
  • Solid understanding of on-site SEO best practices, including redirects, sitemaps, metadata, and schema implementation.
  • Experience with QA processes and ADA/accessibility compliance.
  • Familiarity with CRO principles and how design and development decisions affect conversion.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana strongly preferred) and design tools (Figma or equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, information technology, marketing, or a related field.

This role is perfect for individuals who:

  • Operate autonomously and are proactive.
  • Communicate proactively, completely, and clearly.
  • Possess strong attention to detail.
  • Push back professionally when something is out of scope or off-track.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without issues.
  • Hold themselves accountable and meet deadlines.
