Job Summary

As a Website Creator / Web Design Intern, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining websites that align with our organization’s goals. You will work closely with our creative and technical teams to implement innovative designs, optimize user experience, and ensure website functionality across various platforms. This role is ideal for motivated individuals interested in expanding their expertise in front-end development, UI/UX design, and digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing visually appealing website layouts using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Develop responsive websites utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks such as Bootstrap and Angular.
• Implement user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) best practices to enhance usability and accessibility.
• Collaborate on creating motion graphics and visual content using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate.
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
• Maintain existing websites through updates, troubleshooting, and performance improvements using WordPress, Drupal, or custom code.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Participate in team meetings to brainstorm innovative solutions for web projects and digital marketing campaigns.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and design trends to continuously improve project outcomes.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a program related to Graphic Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Proficiency with web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and familiarity with frameworks like Bootstrap or Angular.
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, InVision, Sketch, or Axure.
• Knowledge of content management systems like WordPress or Drupal is preferred.
• Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent visual design skills including typography and information architecture.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies such as React, Node.js, Redux, or SQL databases is advantageous.
