Web Designer & Developer (Remote)
KeyIT Tech is seeking an innovative and talented Web Designer & Developer to join our dynamic team. This remote, full-time, permanent role focuses on creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that enhance client online presence. The ideal candidate will leverage a broad range of digital design skills, including UX, UI, interaction design, and front-end development, to shape our digital footprint through engaging web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging websites utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, and Bootstrap.
- Create website layouts, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using industry-standard tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, and InVision.
- Integrate front-end code seamlessly with back-end systems, including PHP, Python, MySQL, SQL databases, Drupal, and WordPress.
- Develop user-friendly and responsive designs optimized for all devices, focusing on improving User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI).
- Ensure design consistency with branding standards and adherence to accessibility standards and UX/UI best practices.
- Maintain existing websites, performing regular updates, and optimizing for SEO using tools like Google Analytics.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and enhance website functionality.
- Develop and maintain websites using various coding languages, integrating databases, APIs, and third-party services.
- Ensure optimal website performance, speed, and security; conduct thorough testing and debugging.
- Maintain and update website content and features.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to achieve project goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including experience with frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with back-end languages: Python and PHP.
- Knowledge of Databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop) and strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, Software Engineering, or Web Design & Development.
Desirable Skills (Good to Have)
- Developer background preferred.
