Senior Cloud Linux Systems Administrator

Join Grupo Aire, a leading technology company specializing in Telco, Cloud, and IT solutions. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Linux Systems Administrator to maintain and manage client systems and our private cloud infrastructure based on Proxmox.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Manage daily operations for clients and their cloud infrastructures.
• Provide proactive and reactive incident support.
• Collaborate with various Infrastructure as a Service providers.
• Create and support new client environments.
• Test and certify new technology versions (e.g., PHP, PostgreSQL, Redis), ensuring secure and stable integration.
• Update corresponding Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, managing high-availability infrastructure (load balancing, replication, failover).
• Advanced Linux skills, preferably in Ubuntu environments.
• Experience with Proxmox virtualization systems.
• Technology Stack: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Nginx, CDN, HAProxy, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis, Varnish, PHP (configuration and optimization, not development).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible.
• Experience with application deployments or collaborating in the deployment process.
• Experience with monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Knowledge of backup and restore management for files and databases.
• Experience developing automation scripts in Bash and/or Python.
• Team player with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Experience implementing anti-DDoS measures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Fluent communication skills.
