Job Summary

We are hiring a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, and robust financial systems and payment processing solutions. This critical role requires hands-on technical leadership, deep expertise across front-end and back-end technologies, and a strategic approach. The Technical Lead will guide cross-functional teams through complex migration projects and challenging product requirements within a fast-paced, highly regulated, cloud-native environment utilizing Azure and AWS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java, PHP, Angular, and REST APIs.
  • Oversee and contribute to microservices-based architecture and cloud-native solutions deployed on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Drive the development of responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces adhering to modern UI/UX principles using Angular.
  • Champion CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation practices for efficient and reliable deployments (DevOps).
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Manage code quality and security utilizing tools such as SonarQube, Bitbucket, and IDE integrations, alongside rigorous code review and approval processes.
  • Engage in hands-on development, unit testing framework implementation, and peer reviews.
  • Direct migration projects from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance payment processing solutions while maintaining strict compliance with industry standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, incorporating AI-driven enhancements where applicable.
  • Ensure timely, budget-compliant solution delivery while upholding high standards for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Utilize JIRA and Confluence for agile project management, documentation, and team collaboration.
  • Mentor and guide developers, promoting professional growth and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Proven expertise with Java, PHP, Angular, and RESTful API development.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Azure), CI/CD, IaC, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong full-stack development skills covering Java, PHP, Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience managing relational and NoSQL databases and secure data handling.
  • Solid grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
  • Familiarity and experience with AI technologies, including AI Code Assistants in IDEs and AI agents in enterprise systems.
  • Experience utilizing SonarQube Cloud, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with complex product requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and IDE tools.
  • Proficiency in Power BI.
  • Background in migration projects and legacy modernization efforts.
  • Experience working with third-party payment gateways, payment processing systems, fraud detection systems, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with Claude Code or other AI development tools.
