An important IT company at the Latin American level is seeking a Sr DevOps Engineer to support its growth.
Qualifications for the Role
To qualify for this DevOps Engineer position, candidates must possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in an engineering role utilizing service and hosting solutions, including private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
- 3+ years of hands-on technical experience with Container Orchestration (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Services) and Container Registry (e.g., Azure Container Registry).
- 3+ years of functional knowledge in programming, scripting, and data science languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++, R.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management, and automation tools like GitHub, VSTS, Ansible, DSC, Puppet, Ambari, Chef, Salt, Jenkins, Maven.
- 3+ years of hands-on technical experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) delivery pipelines using HashiCorp’s Terraform and Ansible Tower.
- Experience with Azure, O365, Azure Stack, or Azure AD.
- Multi-system integration expertise using industry standards such as REST, API, JSON, SOAP, gRPC.
- Container knowledge using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Proven experience demonstrating working knowledge of relevant software infrastructure platforms (depending on specialism) and understanding of applicable standards.

- Demonstrate the ability to learn new and emerging technologies, define engineering standards, and produce automation code.
- Possess operational abilities, including early life support and driving root cause analysis and remediation.
ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
