LinTech Global seeks a Sr. Application Engineer to provide Information Technology (IT) Systems Support Services under our contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Compliance and Enforcement Assurance.
Position Overview & Required Experience
- At least 6 years of experience collaborating with business and technical users to develop logical designs, user stories, and technical documents.
- At least 2 years leading or managing requirements development teams utilizing AGILE SCRUM methodologies.
- At least 3 years of experience working on federal or state information technology projects focusing on: Requirements and Design, Development, Operations and Maintenance, Training and Outreach, User Support, Research and Development, and Data Analysis.
- Experience applying federal or state environmental statutes and enforcement policies within IT projects is preferred, but not required.
Key Technologies & Skills
Required experience includes the following technologies:
- Methodologies & Tools: Agile SDLC, Electronic Data Transfer (EDT), Section 508, Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira), User Validation Testing (UVA)/User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and APIs.
- Data & Databases: JSON, XML, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, WebLogic SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 12c, SAP Business Objects and 360 Suite, Informatica, Xcelsius, Crystal Reports.
- Programming & Frameworks: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java, Python, Django for Python, Symfony for PHP, J2EE, Struts, jQuery, Hibernate.
- Operating Systems & Servers: RHEL7 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat.
- Reporting & Visualization: Qlik Sense.
