We are seeking a talented SEO Expert passionate about optimizing WordPress websites, improving search rankings, and working directly with clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
SEO Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and structured data for maximum search visibility.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other essential SEO tools.
- Develop and execute local SEO strategies, including optimizing Google Business Profiles.
- Build and maintain high-quality backlink strategies, leveraging resources like FenceCompany.com.
- Stay updated on SEO best practices, Google algorithm updates, and industry trends.
Client & Project Management
- Communicate with clients via Monday.com, HubSpot, and CRM tools, providing updates and gathering feedback.
- Collaborate with the Clever Fox Online team to ensure websites align with overall marketing goals.
- Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Deploy and manage web files within hosting servers.
- Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites for performance, security, and user experience.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring fast load times and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement design and functionality updates based on client feedback.
- Ensure websites follow accessibility and UX/UI best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience monitoring & optimizing SEO.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Extensive experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs or other SEO performance tools.
- Strong knowledge of website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Skilled with local SEO strategies and Google Business Profile optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
- Must have high-speed internet access, webcam, and reliable computer equipment.
- Optional: Experience managing projects in Monday.com, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools.
IMPORTANT EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
This is a full-time employment position, not a freelance role. Employees are required to sign an NDA/Non-Compete Agreement and will not be allowed to work on freelance projects while employed by Clever Fox Online.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & BENEFITS
We are a 100% remote team operating across North America. Team members work a full 40-hour week (generally 8am-5pm local time).
