    • Payment gateways and digital ticketing solutions (e.g., Token Transit/QR).
  • Ensure full compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA and ADA accessibility standards.
  • Optimize website performance, security hardening, and scalability.
  • Create user-friendly navigation and structure for quick information access (1–2 clicks to key information).
  • Maintain consistent branding and visual design aligned with the organization’s identity.
  • Implement SEO best practices and analytics tracking.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and user guides for non-technical content management staff.
  • Offer post-launch support and participate in training sessions for internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, and code).
  • Strong proficiency with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Proven experience building accessible, responsive, and multilingual websites.
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA, ADA, and Section 508 compliance requirements.
  • Experience integrating APIs, maps, real-time data, and third-party systems.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and web performance optimization.
