Sr. Systems Engineer (Remote)

LinTech Global seeks a highly experienced Sr. Systems Engineer to deliver Information Technology (IT) Systems Support Services for our contract supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Compliance and Enforcement Assurance (EPA OC&EA). This is a fully remote position with no travel required.

Salary Range: $108,443.87 - $130,599.06 per year

Position Overview:

Candidates must possess at least 6 years of experience executing complex systems engineering activities, including major systems design, database design, systems architecture, integration, and implementation. Expertise should cover hardware, software, budgetary planning, and support facilities/equipment across the following technologies:

  • Agile SDLC, Electronic Data Transfer (EDT), JSON, XML, Section 508 compliance.
  • Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira).
  • Database technologies: Oracle, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 12c.
  • Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, WebLogic SQL, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic.
  • Programming languages/frameworks: PHP, Java, Python, Django for Python, Symfony for PHP, J2EE, Struts, Hibernate.
  • Reporting and Business Intelligence: SAP Business Objects and 360 Suite, Qlik Sense, Informatica, Xcelsius, Crystal Reports.
  • Operating Systems: RHEL7 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
  • Testing and Integration: User Validation Testing (UVA)/User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and APIs.

Preferred experience includes working with Oracle, Java, Business Objects, WebLogic, or Linux.

  • Minimum of 2 years leading or managing teams supporting IT projects, such as the maintenance of ICIS.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading or participating in teams utilizing Agile methodologies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on federal or state information technology projects, focusing on tasks such as:
  1. Requirements and Design
  2. Development
  3. Operations and Maintenance
  4. Training and Outreach
  5. User Support
  6. Research and Development
  7. Data Analysis

Experience applying federal or state environmental statutes and enforcement policies within IT projects is preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a Clearable US Citizen capable of passing a background investigation to obtain a federal security clearance.
