LinTech Global is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to provide Information Technology (IT) Systems Support Services for our contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Compliance and Enforcement Assurance.
Position Overview
This role requires at least 6 years of experience performing multiple systems engineering activities, including major systems design, database design, systems architecture, integration, implementation, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities/equipment in the following technologies:
- Agile SDLC, Electronic Data Transfer (EDT), JSON, XML, Section 508 compliance.
- Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira).
- Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, WebLogic SQL, PL/SQL.
- Programming Languages/Frameworks: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java, Python, Django for Python, Symfony for PHP, J2EE, Struts, jQuery, Hibernate.
- Reporting/BI Tools: SAP Business Objects and 360 Suite, Qlik Sense, Informatica, Xcelsius, Crystal Reports.
- Operating Systems/Middleware: RHEL7 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Oracle 12c, Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat.
- Testing/Integration: User Validation Testing (UVA)/User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and APIs.
Experience with Oracle, Java, Business Objects, WebLogic, or Linux is preferred.
The position requires at least 2 years leading/managing teams supporting IT projects (e.g., maintenance of ICIS) and at least 2 years of experience leading or working as part of a team using Agile methodologies.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working with federal or state information technology projects, focusing on tasks such as Requirements and Design, Development, Operations and Maintenance, Training and Outreach, User Support, Research and Development, and Data Analysis.
Experience working with IT projects focused on applying federal or state environmental statutes and enforcement policies is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Clearable US Citizen that is able to pass a background investigation in order to obtain a federal security clearance.
