Senior Systems Engineer (Remote)

LinTech Global seeks a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to deliver comprehensive Information Technology (IT) Systems Support Services under our contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Compliance and Enforcement Assurance (EPA OC&EA). This is a remote position with no travel required.

Position Overview: Key Systems Engineering Expertise

Candidates must possess at least 6 years of experience executing complex systems engineering activities, including major systems design, database design, systems architecture, integration, implementation, and managing hardware, software, budgetary needs, and support facilities/equipment across the following technologies:

  • Development & Architecture: Agile SDLC, Electronic Data Transfer (EDT), JSON, XML, Section 508 compliance, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebLogic SQL, PHP, Java, Python, Django for Python, Symfony for PHP, PL/SQL, J2EE, Struts, jQuery, Hibernate, and APIs.
  • Databases & Middleware: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Oracle 12c, Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat.
  • Reporting & Analytics: SAP Business Objects and 360 Suite, Qlik Sense, Informatica, Xcelsius, Crystal Reports.
  • Operating Systems: RHEL7 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
  • Collaboration Tools: Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira).
  • Testing: User Validation Testing (UVA)/User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Preferred Experience: Expertise in Oracle, Java, Business Objects, WebLogic, or Linux is highly valued.

Leadership and Project Management Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years leading or managing teams supporting critical Information Technology projects, such as the maintenance of ICIS.
  • Minimum of 2 years leading or actively participating as part of a team utilizing Agile methodologies.

Federal IT Project Focus

Requires at least 3 years of experience working on federal or state information technology projects, focusing on tasks such as:

  • Requirements and Design
  • Development
  • Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
  • Training and Outreach
  • User Support
  • Research and Development
  • Data Analysis

Preferred Experience: Experience applying federal or state environmental statutes and enforcement policies within IT projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a Clearable US Citizen.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation necessary to obtain a federal security clearance.
