Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator (L3 Support) to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of our production systems and hosting infrastructure.

As a senior member of the operations team, you will play a key role in designing scalable system architectures, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and supporting both internal teams and customer-facing platforms. This position requires deep expertise in Linux systems, networking, virtualization, and modern infrastructure automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable Linux-based infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system-level issues across servers, networking, and applications.
• Maintain and optimize server operating systems across physical and virtual environments.
• Ensure the stability, integrity, and security of systems supporting critical business operations.
• Implement and manage infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across systems and services.
• Support and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers when handling complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and architecture guidelines.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes when necessary.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong experience with Linux-based systems (CentOS, RHEL, CloudLinux).
• Deep understanding of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/OpenLiteSpeed, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP).
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, protocols, routing, and firewall configurations.
• Experience managing Linux firewall technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation.
• Experience administering relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, Virtuozzo, or VMware.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack.
• Knowledge of storage technologies including NFS and iSCSI.
• Experience with Docker containerization and container-based deployments.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing LiteSpeed, Nginx, Apache servers.
• Familiarity with hosting control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, CyberPanel, HestiaCP, CWP, and WHMCS Ticketing Panel.
