Role Summary
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be Temporal's primary customer-facing technical leader in Singapore, focusing on the APJ region. This critical role involves guiding prospects and customers to understand the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform and highlighting the technical advantages of our cloud service. You will be instrumental in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies, helping customer engineering teams expand production applications, and owning the technical relationship with key decision-makers, directly contributing to our success.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with prospects to assess the fit of their applications for Temporal’s platform.
- Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
- Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase Temporal adoption and expansion in production environments.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
- Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers at customer organizations to ensure full leverage of Temporal’s capabilities.
What You’ll Bring
- Residency in Singapore with eligibility to work without sponsorship.
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
- Ability to serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping, sizing opportunities, and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges.

Compensation Range: SGD 134.4K - SGD 176.4K
