Senior Software Engineering Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to build, scale, and lead a high-performing global engineering organization. You will guide a talented, distributed team through rapid growth, establishing technical excellence and operational consistency as we expand internationally. This role focuses on people development, culture building, and driving a performance playbook to enable engineers worldwide.

This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale distributed engineering teams across regions, ensuring consistency in quality, culture, and communication.
• Drive a performance-driven playbook with clear goals, metrics, and accountability frameworks.
• Mentor and coach engineers and team leads to foster strong technical and people leadership.
• Create a culture of trust, innovation, and continuous improvement across diverse, international teams.
• Lead technical strategy and roadmap development in partnership with product, design, and operations.
• Implement scalable processes for code quality, delivery, and system reliability.
• Provide hands-on guidance on technical direction, architectural decisions, and engineering best practices.

What You'll Need for Success:

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in SaaS or high-growth, remote-first environments.
• Proven experience building and leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
• A people-first leadership approach focused on inspiring, mentoring, and retaining top global talent.
• Deep understanding of modern software development, with experience across PHP, React, and Python or similar frameworks.
• Strong operational mindset with experience in setting measurable goals and building scalable engineering processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s is a plus).
