You will collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to architect and deliver cutting-edge features for a platform used by leading global organizations. We value clean code, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. This role involves impacting technical direction and mentoring teammates to scale systems and evolve the product. We embrace collaborative practices like pair programming, technical design reviews, and whiteboarding.

This role requires close collaboration with teams in Canada, the UK, and India, with expected working hours from 11 am to 7:30 pm IST to accommodate time zone differences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and rapidly building end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s web platform.
• Proactively building technology to prevent bugs and ensure software quality.
• Interacting with customers to gather detailed feedback for a user-centric experience.
• Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment.
• Mentoring and coaching others, providing technical guidance and fostering knowledge-sharing.
• Contributing to Loopio’s AI roadmap, evaluating third-party models, optimizing LLM integration, and defining technical guidelines for AI-powered features.
• Leading technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision-making; experience as a technical lead is a bonus.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale.
• Strong experience in backend/API development with PHP, Python, or Java.
• Experience in frontend development with a solid understanding of React and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL.
• Proficient in using and designing RESTful APIs.
• Mentorship experience through coaching, design, and code reviews.
• Exposure to AI technologies, particularly LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude), embeddings, or natural language processing. Familiarity with integrating or working with modern AI APIs is highly valuable.
• Comfortable guiding technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision-making.
• A growing passion for driving processes and improving software development productivity.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
• Experience in Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch, or prior work in building/integrating intelligent features (semantic search, RAG, third-party app integration) is a plus.

India/UK hub employees work according to business hours designed to enable global team collaboration.
