Responsibilities
The Radiology Analytics team seeks a technically skilled and highly motivated professional to design, build, and advance the data and analytics ecosystem supporting the Department of Radiology. This critical role focuses on developing reliable, high-performance data pipelines and platforms that transform complex clinical and operational data into trusted, analytics-ready assets.
These robust datasets will support operational insights, advanced reporting, and serve as the foundation for AI and machine learning initiatives, including predictive modeling and capacity-planning use cases. Serving as a vital bridge between IT and Radiology, this position directly enhances efficiency, innovation, and patient care.
Key duties include:
- Designing, building, and operating scalable, production-grade data pipelines and integrations for analytics and machine learning solutions.
- Developing and maintaining reliable data ingestion, processing, and storage workflows using platforms like Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensuring data quality, performance, and operational stability across all workflows.
- Applying a strong understanding of enterprise data architectures and tooling, exercising independent technical judgment.
- Collaborating with data scientists, data analysts, and IT partners to engineer clinical and operational data into trusted, model-ready datasets for advanced analytics and AI development across Radiology.
Note: May be required to provide 24/7 call support.

Qualifications
A minimum of five years of professional or research experience in data visualization, data engineering, or analytical modeling techniques, combined with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical/quantitative field (e.g., engineering, mathematics, computer science, information technology, health science). OR a minimum of seven years of professional or research experience in these areas with an Associate’s degree in a relevant field. In-depth business or practice knowledge will also be considered.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to manage a varied workload of projects with multiple priorities and stay current on healthcare trends and enterprise changes.
- Strong analytical skills, commitment to customer service, and the ability to identify and recommend solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and high capacity for learning and problem resolution.
- Advanced experience in SQL is required.
- Strong experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PHP, C++, Java) and API integration is required.
- Experience in hybrid data processing methods (batch and streaming) such as Apache Spark, Hive, Pig, or Kafka is required.
- Experience with big data, statistics, and machine learning is required.
- Ability to navigate Linux and Windows operating systems is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of workflow scheduling (Apache Airflow, Google Composer).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD (Jenkins, Github Actions).
- Experience in DataOps/DevOps and agile methodologies.
- Experience with hybrid data virtualization such as Denodo.
- Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, SAS, ThoughtSpot, DASH, d3, React, Snowflake, SSIS, and Google Big Query.
License or Certification
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certification is preferred.
