We are seeking a Senior Cloud Linux Systems Administrator to manage and maintain client systems and our private cloud infrastructure based on Proxmox.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations for client cloud infrastructures.
• Perform proactive and reactive incident monitoring and resolution.
• Collaborate with various Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers.
• Create new client environments and provide support throughout project phases.
• Test and certify new technology stack versions (e.g., PHP, PostgreSQL, Redis), ensuring secure and stable infrastructure integration.
• Update corresponding Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories.

Required Skills & Experience:

We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, focusing on high-availability infrastructure management.

• High Availability Expertise: Proven experience managing load balancing, replication, and failover systems.
• Linux Proficiency: Advanced Linux skills, preferably in Ubuntu environments.
• Virtualization: Experience configuring and managing virtualization systems, specifically Proxmox.
• Core Technology Stack: Expertise in Mysql, PostgreSQL, Nginx, CDN technology, haproxy (load balancers), ElasticSearch and/or OpenSearch, Redis, Varnish, and PHP (configuration and optimization, not development).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience managing IaC for provisioning and configuration, preferably using Ansible.
• Deployment: Experience in application deployments or collaborating with development teams on deployment processes.
• Monitoring Systems: Skilled in managing and configuring monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or others).
• Automation: Ability to develop automation scripts using bash and/or python.
• Data Management: Knowledge of backup management and file/database restoration.
• Soft Skills: Enjoys teamwork, knowledge sharing, and managing multiple client projects simultaneously.

Highly Valued Qualifications:

• 24x7 support experience.
• Direct customer support experience.
• System hardening and firewall management (pfSense, iptables, nftables).
• Compliance knowledge (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
• Familiarity with e-commerce software (Magento, Prestashop, WooCommerce), ERP systems (Odoo), and PHP frameworks (Laravel or similar).
• Experience managing public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• WAF (Web Application Firewall) configuration and use.
• Implementation of anti-DDOS measures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or others).
• Fluent written and oral communication skills.
