Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with exceptional problem-solving skills. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Backend Development and collaboration within an Agile team. This position is remote-friendly for US-based candidates.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Go, PHP, or JavaScript.
- Strong data analysis, debugging, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and trace root causes.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and the ability to write efficient, testable, and secure code.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, including writing complex queries.
- Familiarity with database performance monitoring and tuning.
- Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments, including composing command pipelines and writing shell scripts for automation.
- DevOps mindset with practical experience using Docker, Docker Compose, and/or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools.
- Experience with system design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS.
- Background in big data or real-time/low-latency systems.
