Responsibilities
- Identify software vulnerabilities through rigorous testing procedures.
- Develop concepts and procedures for software testing.
- Review software bugs and highlight critical areas.
- Write programming code to enhance software testing automation processes.
- Develop use cases, functional specifications, UX test cases, and perform object-oriented analysis.
- Troubleshoot software issues and define procedures for finalizing software systems for market release.
- Create comprehensive quality testing reports.
- Coordinate with the design team to address application weaknesses.
- Examine user stories and functional requirements.
- Create and set up testing environments for running test cases and scenarios.
- Participate in the creation, implementation, and management of QA processes, tools, and supporting technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- Strong programming skills and coding knowledge for automation using Java, Python, JavaScript, or PHP.
- Sound SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) understanding.
- Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Proven track record working with: Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Postman.
- Understanding of design quality standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage user experience issues related to data quality.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and other data management query languages.
