Network Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in developing web applications and network automation suites. This role involves designing, building, maintaining, testing, and debugging modern technology stacks related to network automation. A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications for network automation.
• Utilize network automation suites such as ENMS, XSOAR, and Ansible.
• Script and program using languages like C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar.
• Create and manage databases using SQL variations, preferably SQL Server and Postgres.
• Develop and integrate APIs and RESTful services.
• Work with modern JavaScript libraries including React, Vue, or Angular.
• Use GitLab or other Git-based platforms for version control.
• Operate in both Linux and Windows server environments.
• Apply knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design to solve complex network automation problems.

This position offers flexibility, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and support individual growth.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in web application development.
• 2-5 years of experience with network automation suites.
• Proficiency in scripting and object-oriented programming languages.
• Familiarity with SQL variations and database management.
• Experience with API creation and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with Git-based platforms.
• Familiarity with both Linux and Windows server environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, as well as all required security certifications and trainings.
• Must have or be willing and capable of obtaining within 60 days a qualifying security certification, such as CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP.
