Remote Full Stack Web Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Modern Frameworks)

We are hiring an innovative and talented Web Developer to join our dynamic, remote team. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and websites. You will collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional user experiences, optimize platform performance, and implement industry best practices.

A strong foundation in UX principles, responsive design, and SEO optimization is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications using core technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks including Angular, React, Vue.js, and Bootstrap.
• Design intuitive user interfaces (UI) focusing on user experience (UX) principles and wireframing techniques.
• Build robust back-end systems utilizing frameworks such as Django, Spring Framework, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and PHP.
• Integrate third-party APIs and develop RESTful or SOAP web services to enhance application functionality.
• Manage and optimize database performance using systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and SQLite.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps, and utilize version control systems including Git, GitHub, and SVN.
• Streamline deployment processes using containerization (Docker) and DevOps practices (Ansible).
• Conduct unit testing and code reviews to maintain high code quality and adherence to SDLC standards.
• Optimize websites for SEO best practices and improve site performance using data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).
• Document system architecture, APIs, and development processes; participate in Agile methodologies using Jira or Trello.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in front-end development: HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript (TypeScript), AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive web design.
• Experience with major back-end frameworks (e.g., Django/Python, Spring/Java, ASP.NET/.NET, Express.js/Node.js, PHP frameworks).
• Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for hosting and deployment.
• Proficiency in version control (Git/GitHub, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including Docker containerization and Ansible automation.
• Ability to implement SEO strategies and familiarity with XML/JSON data formats.

Pay: £34,000.00 - £56,326.30 per year
