Medior/Senior Front-End Software Developer – Innovation in Healthcare
At Ximius, we are looking for an enthusiastic Front-End Software Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will work on smart and impactful web applications for the healthcare sector, with a focus on capacity management. If you have experience with front-end development and want to contribute to technology that makes a real difference, we are looking for you!
We develop systems that support hospitals in making real-time capacity decisions during peak times or crises, and applications that use algorithms to solve complex planning problems in healthcare, such as optimal staff or resource scheduling.
What You Will Do:
- Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and design.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and domain experts to bring data-driven healthcare applications to life.
- Develop reusable components and front-end modules for scalable software.
- Contribute ideas for interaction design and user experience improvements.
- Work with the development team to translate technical specifications into functional, high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to the technical quality of our front-end codebase, including automated testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
- Actively contribute to improving our development processes.
- Design and implement solutions for complex, data-driven challenges in the healthcare domain.
- Depending on your interest, contribute to applications involving machine learning, operations research, and AI.

What You Bring:
- A completed HBO or WO education in Computer Science, Software Development, or Data Science, with proven experience as a software developer.
- Experience with front-end development and independently building web applications.
- A strong eye for usability, accessibility, and design consistency.
- Proven experience with modern front-end frameworks (preferably ReactJS).
- Knowledge of responsive design, state management (e.g., Redux or React Query), and component-based architectures.
- Experience with professional software development practices, including Agile/Scrum, testing, databases, data structures, algorithms, version control, and DevOps.
- Experience with automated testing (Cypress).
- Experience with SaaS/cloud development is a plus.
