Medior/Senior Full Stack Software Developer – Innovation in Healthcare
At Ximius, we are looking for an enthusiastic Software Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will work on smart and impactful (web) applications for healthcare, with a focus on capacity management. If you have experience with software development and want to contribute to technology that makes a real difference, we are looking for you!
We develop systems that support hospitals in making real-time capacity decisions during peak times or crises, and applications that use algorithms to solve complex planning problems in healthcare, such as optimal staff or resource scheduling.
What You Will Do:
- Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.
- Develop and maintain data-intensive backend systems.
- Collaborate with the development team to translate technical specifications into well-functioning applications.
- Work on front-end, back-end, or DevOps components based on your preference and project needs.
- Develop reusable components and modules for scalable and maintainable software.
- Implement asynchronous messaging, APIs, responsive UIs, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Actively contribute to improving our development processes.
- Devise and implement solutions for complex data-driven issues in the healthcare sector.
- Depending on your interest, contribute to applications involving machine learning, operations research, and AI.

- TypeScript, ReactJS, PHP/Symfony, Python, JavaScript
- Docker, MSSQL, MySQL, RabbitMQ
- GitLab, Jira
What You Bring:
- A completed HBO or WO education in Computer Science, Software Development, or Data Science, with demonstrable experience as a software developer.
- Experience with front-end and/or back-end development and independently building web applications.
- Knowledge of APIs and professional software development practices, including Agile/Scrum, testing, databases, data structures, algorithms, version control, and DevOps.
- Experience in setting up and running automated tests.
- Experience with data-driven solutions (machine learning, AI, statistics) is an advantage.
- Experience with SaaS/cloud development is a plus.
