Junior Web Administrator

First Station Media is seeking a Junior Web Administrator to support the maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of client websites and e-commerce stores. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify, understands basic hosting environments, and is eager to grow technical skills in a fast-paced agency setting.

You will help ensure client websites remain secure, updated, and fully functional while working closely with developers, designers, and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and monitor company and client websites
• Manage and customize websites built on WordPress and Shopify
• Perform routine website maintenance, including plugin updates, backups, and security checks
• Troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes in a timely manner
• Assist with website design updates, content uploads, and formatting
• Optimize website performance (speed, SEO basics, mobile responsiveness)
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and development teams on web projects
• Ensure websites follow best practices for usability and accessibility

Qualifications

• Must be based in the United States (required)
• 1 – 2 years of experience managing websites or a similar technical role
• Proficiency with WordPress (themes, plugins, basic customization)
• Experience with Shopify (store setup, product management, theme adjustments)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with JavaScript or PHP
