iOS Developer (Remote Position)
ATEC is actively seeking an iOS Developer to provide essential engineering support for the development of mobile applications. These applications are crucial for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS). The FAA has equipped thousands of Airway Transportation System Specialists (ATSS) with Apple iPhones to maintain and perform corrective maintenance on National Airspace System (NAS) facilities. ATSS personnel are required to log their maintenance activities using legacy client-based applications. To significantly enhance operational efficiencies, the RMLS Software Team requires a skilled Computer Scientist to deliver Second Level Engineering support, focusing on the development of new mobile applications designed to replace the existing RMLS legacy client-based systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Possess knowledge of procedural requirements, real-time design and development, testing, and interface of software and computer hardware systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in software development and testing using Agile methodology.
- Develop new mobile technology and modify existing software product structures to ensure legacy applications remain functionally compatible with new products deployed in a phased approach.
- Attend and potentially lead meetings, design reviews, working groups, and briefings.
- Report issues, problems, and recommended solutions effectively.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Required:
- Ability to develop applications for Apple iPhone.
- Excellent knowledge of iOS SDK (Software Development Kit).
- Extensive experience with C# and .NET.
- Strong knowledge of React Native.
- Proficiency in JavaScript programming.
- Experience with AJAX and Web Services.
- Oracle developer experience (including PLSQL skills).
- Ability to develop software applications using Agile methodology.
- Capability to multitask development efforts efficiently.
- Knowledge and experience developing applications in an Oracle/SQL environment.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer relations skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twelve (12) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field.
OR
Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and nine (9) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.

$80,000 - $92,000
