We are seeking a talented Go Developer / Security Researcher to join our Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team. ELS enables organizations to securely continue using Linux distributions and software languages that have reached end-of-life or no longer receive standard security support. We provide vulnerability patches for unsupported versions of CentOS, CentOS Stream, Ubuntu, Debian, Oracle Linux, PHP, Python, and the Spring software development framework. As a Go Developer / Security Researcher, you will be part of a dedicated research team responsible for delivering security patches, a critical component of our service. You will play a vital role in analyzing vulnerabilities and threats, backporting patches, and expanding coverage for supported applications and plugins.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze new security vulnerabilities in open-source Go applications and frameworks.
- Backport upstream patches to fix vulnerabilities in earlier versions.
- Research new trends in exploitation techniques and malware approaches, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Increase the coverage of supported Go applications and plugins, including components from the Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystem.

Requirements
- Good knowledge of Go.
- 4+ years of relevant experience as a Software Developer, Security Researcher, or similar role.
- Proven experience in code testing (e.g., unit, integration testing).
- Experience with Git, Jenkins/Gitlab for CI/CD.
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.
Nice to Have:
- Understanding and knowledge of the security vulnerabilities life cycle.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience in researching vulnerabilities within Go applications.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source Go or Kubernetes-related projects.
