Position Summary
IMG Academy seeks a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver and document high-quality software solutions.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
- Build and integrate APIs to support application functionality.
- Work with databases, ensuring optimal data modeling and performance.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Document and define disaster and succession plans for software solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements for product development.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, Liquid, Twig.
- Back-end technologies: Ruby, PHP, Node.js.
- Development tools: Composer, Brew, NVM/NPM.
- Server and database management: Linux, Apache, MySQL, YAML.
- Leveraging Claude AI.
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Experience with relational and SQL databases.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with version control using Git/GitHub.
- Experience with Enterprise Cloudflare services.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
- Interest in sports.
- Experience leveraging AI frameworks such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
