Job Description
FULLSTACK DEVELOPER (PHP CodeIgniter / Python / JavaScript) – Parma (Hybrid 3+2)
We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join a structured enterprise context, with evolutionary maintenance and development activities on existing applications and legacy systems.
The position is hybrid: 3 days on-site in Parma and 2 days remote.
Main Responsibilities
The candidate will be involved in the development and maintenance of corporate applications, working on backend, automation, and existing user interfaces.
Backend Development
- Development and maintenance of enterprise applications in PHP
- Use of the CodeIgniter 4.x framework
- Management of modular architectures and legacy/evolutionary systems
- Code optimization and refactoring of existing components
Data Processing & Automation
Development of Python scripts for:
- process automation
- backend task orchestration
- data flow optimization
Support for pipeline and batch process management
Frontend & Legacy UI
- Development and maintenance of interfaces in JavaScript (jQuery)
- Work on existing UIs without modern frameworks
- Understanding and management of legacy frontend logic
- Incremental improvement of historical interfaces
Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge of PHP
- Experience with CodeIgniter (4.x)
- Good knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
- Ability to work on legacy and enterprise systems
- Understanding of modular architectures and evolutionary maintenance
