At eCapital, we are seeking a talented Full Stack Web Developer to join our innovative digital marketing team. As a Full Stack Web Developer at eCapital, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of web development. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing web applications that deliver outstanding user experiences, utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies.
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join the crew and help us move forward more rapidly. The primary responsibilities might vary from:
- Develop new user-facing features.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Front-End Development:
- Design and develop user-friendly and responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for various devices and screen sizes.
Back-End Development:
- Create server-side logic and APIs using server-side languages like PHP & Node.js.
- Manage databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing database performance (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Database Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases.
- Write efficient SQL queries and relationships.
Server Configuration and Deployment:
- Set up and configure web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and application servers (e.g., Tomcat) as needed.
- Deploy web applications to production servers and manage deployment pipelines.
Version Control:
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to track changes and collaborate with other team members.
Testing and Debugging:
- Write unit tests and conduct integration testing to ensure the functionality and performance of web applications.
- Debug and resolve issues reported by users or quality assurance teams.
Qualifications:
List of minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, computer competencies, military service, required certifications, etc.:
- Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Experience developing web, desktop and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with common technology stacks.
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP, C#, Java).
- Understanding of object-oriented best practices.
- Strong knowledge of core Javascript/HTML/CSS along with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. jQuery, React, Vue, Angular, Node, etc.).
- Expertise with various CSS Modules (e.g. Flexbox, Transitions and Animations, and Grid Layout) and the ability to leverage them in creating effective user interfaces.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, SQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. NGINX, Apache) and UI/UX design.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS and vanilla JavaScript.
- Expert in Javascript/TypeScript concepts like asynchronous programming, types, promises, and ES6.
- Developed full-stack web applications which processed, analyzed, and rendered data visually.
- Strong understanding of writing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience building custom websites and applications across multiple platforms like Wordpress / Headless WordPress / Contentful / Shopify / Craft CMS / Firebase / etc.
- Can develop content management workflows (design content authoring layouts and fields) while ensuring an easy-to-use experience for content authors.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with task management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA).
- Solid understanding of GIT best practices. Comfortable with handling branches, merge conflicts, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of how to build reusable components and documenting them in our style guides.
- Fundamental knowledge of core web principals (HTTP, the DOM, SSL, web servers).
- Experience with deployment pipelines.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience using a broad array of technologies and frameworks like (but not limited to) Ruby on Rails, Java/JEE, Node.js, Express, React, React Native, VueJS, Python, Laravel, GraphQL.
- Experience with Cloud technologies and microservices (Azure / AWS / Digital Ocean).
