Ciklum is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland. About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, taking full ownership of the product and codebase. Your involvement will span the entire development lifecycle, from ideation and design to architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance. This critical project focuses on enhancing trust and transparency for a global consumer review platform by detecting and preventing fraudulent activities, such as fake reviews, and ensuring policy compliance through AI, data analysis, and scalable fraud detection systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data Science within a full ownership team.
  • Participate in system design and technical decision-making.
  • Develop scalable backend services and clean, reusable frontend components.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and distributed cloud services.
  • Contribute to planning, implementing, and releasing new features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the tech stack.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Actively participate in code reviews and team discussions.
  • Support and inspire the team with your technical expertise and problem-solving mindset.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in fullstack web development.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices.
  • Skilled in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Datadog, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with GCP and services like BigQuery.
  • Exposure to Python, .NET, or PHP.
  • Frontend experience with CSS Modules, SASS, or Styled Components.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing using Playwright.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation).
