The Role
We are hiring a Full Stack Developer (Laravel & React) to help maintain and scale our core applications and contribute to the next wave of AI-enabled features. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move comfortably across the stack: designing APIs and database schemas, building clean UIs, and improving performance and infrastructure.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain end-to-end product features across backend and frontend.
- Design, implement, and version REST APIs.
- Improve database performance: schema design, indexing, query optimization, and data integrity.
- Ensure reliability and scalability: caching, queueing, background jobs, observability, and incident-friendly design.
- Contribute to AWS infrastructure improvements (deployment, security posture, cost/performance tradeoffs).
- Collaborate on architecture for new products and integrations, including AI-assisted workflows.
- Write tests, improve code quality, and help enforce engineering standards (reviews, CI/CD, documentation).
Core Requirements (Must-Have)
Backend (Laravel / PHP)
- Strong PHP experience with Laravel (service architecture, queues, jobs, events, auth, API patterns).
- Familiarity with common backend concerns: security, rate limiting, validation, performance, logging.
Frontend (React)
- Experience building responsive, interactive UIs with React.
- Comfort with state management patterns and component design; ability to ship polished interfaces.
Database (MySQL)
- Strong MySQL skills: schema design, migrations, complex queries, optimization, indexing strategies.
Cloud / Infrastructure (AWS)
- Hands-on AWS experience (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch—exact services may vary).
- Ability to reason about tradeoffs in scalability, cost, and reliability.
Systems Thinking
- Solid understanding of networking and architecture: HTTP, TLS, auth flows, caching layers, load balancing, and secure deployment patterns.
Bonus (Nice-to-Have)
- Python for automation, data processing, or internal tooling.
- AI/LLM integration: prompt design, API integration, evaluation, and safety/quality considerations.
